USCG District 17 Frequencies

United States Coast Guard District 17 serves the Alaskan maritime region. Due to the vast remote areas covered by District 17, much of their radio communications take place on HF frequencies such as 4125, 5696 and 8983 kHz. In addition, USCG District 17 also utilizes an HF ALE network for some of their voice comms.

The primary net control station on this network is USCG Communications Station Kodiak, which uses the ALE address of “NOJ” and voice callsign Commsta Kodiak.
