Yesterday I logged an unknown station testing on 260.475 via CONUS.

5080 USB 1406z: Unknown ship with heavy accent clg Plead Control with no response heard.  

5102.5 USB 1455z: Unknown poss. US military station with radio check. Also noted with BGP clg BIG in ALE mode.

5652 USB 1333z: San Francisco wkg Pacific 392 with ATC clearance. Boeing 767-300 from Hong Kong to Nadi.

6650 USB 1319z: OMs in Spanish language. Also noted separate stations on 6650 in LSB.

6650 LSB 1320z: OMs in Spanish language and seemed to be exchanging numbers. Also noted separate stations on 6650 in USB mode; Unknown if related.  

6692 USB 0808z: Fishermen. Conversation was initiated by whistling.  

8146 USB 2004z: Unknown Mexican Air Force aircraft wkg Gamma 20 in Spanish language.  

8250 USB 2006z: Fishermen in Spanish language.

8294 USB 1313z: Ho Chi Minh Radio with maritime navigation warning in English and Vietnamese languages.  

8855 USB 1218z: Jetstar 969 wkg Jetstar Dispatch with ops normal report. Airbus A320 from Perth to Melbourne.

8867 USB 0640z: Pacific 412 wkg Nadi. Boeing 737-700 from Auckland to Nadi.  

8983 USB 1255z: CAMSLANT Chesapeake clg Coast Guard Rescue 1716.

9224 USB 1325z: 9KJAFA sounding in ALE mode.

Caught some activity on 260.625 CONUS with Snipe 11 calling Darkness 01 and other unknown station several times for radio checks.

6522 USB 0909z: Fishermen with Australian accents.  

6542 USB 0042z: Fishermen. Mentioned something about the buoy in the channel.

6552 USB 0058z: Simplex comms with OMs in Spanish language.

6697 USB 1854z: Axel (sound like) with EAM message AST2K2.

8935 LSB 0839z: Fishermen. Used “OK” in place of “Over” following each transmission.

Barksdale B-52 w/ comms “Skull Lead looking for 2” on tertiary freq.

Maintenance 1 and Maintenance 2 conducting radio checks on 260.725.

260.725 is a frequency normally locked out due to Brazilian satcom pirates. I just happened to tune in and catch brief clear comms from Jolly 21 with calls to Jolly Ops and Angel Ops. Then it was back to Brazilian Portuguese.  

More activity was monitored on July 20th.
