7527 USB 0222: 703 clg Z27 in ALE then Rescue 1703 wkg Sector San Francisco to inform they have no sensor operator onboard making them useless after dark. Rescue 1703 is cleared to RTB.

18594 USB 1626: CAMSPAC taking guard from Coast Guard 1714.

Unknown aircraft with test counts on 251.850. Signal was quite good here at my location.

261.575 with “Radio 1” and “Radio 2” in testing comms. These guys had quite the sense of humor. Occasionally ran into more of that bubble/chirp noise as well. It may have been part of their testing.

8122 USB 1446: OM informing stations if they need weather to email [email protected] for details. Another vessel WDC3982 requesting check-ins for Amigo Net.

8125 LSB 0222: Mexican freebanders with OM talking to his wife in Spanish language.

8146 USB 1749: Bravo Bravo Fox wkg Gamma 20 and Lima India Xray wkg Gamma 25 with position reports.

April 10th and 11th brought more bizarre activity to 261.575. The frequency was busy both days with what sounded like an open microphone feeding various audio clips.

Looped recording of “Three Little Pigs” playing over and over. It’s most likely taken from this TV clip: Christopher Walken’s Three Little Pigs. Occasional chirping/sweeping tones also noted. (about 1 minute into audio clip)  

In the recording below you can hear “Mary Had a Little Lamb” nursery rhyme repeating over and over. The same thing was noted several days ago.  

The odd activity continued into the late afternoon hours with an audio book recording.

11175 USB 1604: Skull 21 wkg Offutt with radio check.

11175 USB 2310: Gray Knight 801 wkg Offutt for phone patch to Duty Office with contact report and advises they were unable to get photographs.

13312 USB 0001: Z03 clg D05 in ALE followed Sector Southeast wkg Omaha 05MR and reports loud and clear.

13312 USB 0016: D05 clg Z13 in ALE then Omaha 05 wkg Sector Key West, reports on D8 patrol in western Gulf of Mexico.

20890 USB 1912: Service Center wkg Kilo 74 for key reloads.

Strange intercept on 261.575 with a woman’s voice reciting the “The Aggressor Creed” from the 527th Space Aggressor Squadron. Also had the alphabet using NATO phonetics, counting by increments of 1,000 and reading “Mary Had a Little Lamb” nursery rhymes. Activity went on for about 40 minutes.

Emirates 230 would respond to selcals eventually to be told by the Gander operator to “disregard until further notice” as they were still trying to reach the China Eastern flight.
