Caught this earlier today right on the bottom edge of 40 meters. Not sure how to explain this one better, other than listening to the clip. Talk about creepy!

The Chinese oddity station is back. Token reported a couple days ago that the station was on 6326 in USB mode. It’s the same Chinese oddity station that was monitored last week on 5449. So far it’s been noted at the following times: 0900, 1100, 1300, 1500, 1700 UTC. From the west coast the best shot of hearing this is usually during the 1100 and 1300 transmissions.

6326 USB 1300: Chinese oddity station with YL repeating message.  

6631 USB 0619: Unid Russian aero station wkg N451CS hands off to 6529 kHz. Bombardier Global Express registered to Saban Music Group. Flight en route from Anchorage to Shanghai.

6631 USB 1124: Continental 86 clg Petropavlovsk Control. Flight has trouble copying and will try on 2902 kHz. Boeing 777-200 from Shanghai to Newark.

6730 AM 1333: V24 Korean numbers station in progress YL w/ 5 fig groups.

7000 LSB 1338: Unid stations goofing around (?) over the radio. Occasional music, singing and generally odd behavior.  

8971 USB 1740: Orion 14 wkg Western Sky to contact “Tower” and advise they will be one hour late on deck.

11306 USB 1801: Boeing 103 wkg Boeing Everett. Boeing 787-8 from Paine Field to Grant County Airport.

11306 USB 1829: Boeing 518 wkg Boeing Seattle attempts selcal checks. Stations have reception trouble and shift to 5451. Boeing 737-800 from Renton Municipal to Paine Field.  

17916 USB 1531: Medlink via Stockholm Radio wkg Qatari 354 (not heard) in regards to medical concern aboard the flight.  

261.825: Charleston Weather wkg Ice 11 with WX update at NZIR McMurdo Station (Ice Runway) in Antarctica. Nice springtime temp of -22 degrees.

Unknown stations conducting radio checks on 268.150. Both units had extremely low volume and were hard to make out. I have amplified the audio to make it easier to hear.
