5493 USB 0421: Turkish 40 (sound like) wkg unheard station. Airbus A330 from Istanbul to Johannesburg.

5680 USB 1204: Fishermen w/ XXX language.

5690 USB 1357: Japanese accented station exchanging traffic w/ aircraft. Callsigns sounded like JJ96 and 0KIL.

5717 USB 0206: Vancouver Military giving test counts.

The Japanese on 5690 USB was a Great Catch, very clear transmission and yes their call-signs were JJ96 & 0KIL and again Great Catch 🙂

Welcome fellow radio monitors and enthusiasts! Here you will find my reception logs and audio recordings for HF and SATCOM (with a focus on aviation and military) along with other interesting and odd things that have been monitored over the airwaves.

The majority of the logs and audio clips posted here have been monitored directly from my location in Southern California. I also share intercepts from online SDRs. They will be tagged with KiwiSDR to help identify.

My primary HF setup is the WinRadio G31DDC paired with magnetic loops such as the Wellbrook ALA1530. For UHF SATCOM, antennas used are the Trivec Avant AV-2011, AV-2055 and AV-2095.
