6542 USB 0348z: unIDed fishing vessels discussing low clouds and radar.

6676 USB 0632z: Sydney Volmet in progress giving weather report for Townsville and Melbourne.

6676 USB 1142z: Bangkok Volmet.

6715 USB 1144z: ANDVT

8891 USB 1133z: Gander Radio wkg Korean Air 086 with frequency assignments for Magadan Radio 11390 primary and secondary 8837.

11175 USB 0635z: Andrews with EAM message Z5V5CF.

12450 USB 0437z: OMs in Spanish language with boat engine noise heard in background.

13107 USB 1430z: Presumed XSQ Guangzhou Radio w/ maritime phone traffic. Mostly YLs with noticeable background noise and they would play occasional music.

15721 USB 0407z: Russian S06 numbers station in progress; heavy splatter from RNZI on 15720.

That was not occasional music, it was music-type standby ring tones for mobile or telephones.

Welcome fellow radio monitors and enthusiasts! Here you will find my reception logs and audio recordings for HF and SATCOM (with a focus on aviation and military) along with other interesting and odd things that have been monitored over the airwaves.

The majority of the logs and audio clips posted here have been monitored directly from my location in Southern California. I also share intercepts from online SDRs. They will be tagged with KiwiSDR to help identify.

My primary HF setup is the WinRadio G31DDC paired with magnetic loops such as the Wellbrook ALA1530. For UHF SATCOM, antennas used are the Trivec Avant AV-2011, AV-2055 and AV-2095.
